the more the merrier

i'm going through this whole pile on the jewlery phaze (not as much as these hands have, perhaps cause i don't have that many rings...) but i also like mixing up those metals. i just want a huge envious collection of pieces, but i can't i have to save my mula.  it'll become grand one day, for now i can just borrow my mom's little tressures- if she allows me to.
shoot i want all those  lovely little finger decorations she has on her hands.

beautiful movement

these photos simply glamorize the 60's. makes me wish i lived during that time, but then again now fashion has so much more freedom, now style is fashionable if worn with the right attitude. the fashion police don't have so much control on what's in and what's out. it's every day people who are now inspiring designers, who would have ever though? but back to these simple and beautiful shots. everything flawless, from the sparkley sheer tights, to the twisted long ponytail to the movement of the models. they make taking a jumping picture seem to effortless, although i know it for sure is not. i honestly have to learn how to master a jumping shot without having my mouth opened in a super cheezy highschool musical type smile. i'll practice that later.

Here we are again I feel the chemicals kickin' in

awe man, love when i stumble upon a new band. almost didn't click the video cause i assumed it was gonna be a
punk band. but it was not, thank goodness.and goodness this is. plus the only girl in the band is a drummer, makes me a tad jealous. always wished i could be capable of smashing on the drums, smashing as in actually making beats rather than loud thumps of nothing. but hey i can dream can't i, thank you rockband.

my apologies

i know i've been a tad MIA from this blog, but hey give me a lil slack. i don't have a camera that takes good photos (ex. mine at the moment either has super high flash, or shoots in all in black and red...) so for now another celeb style inspiration will do. yes it is one of the olsens, can you guess who? ashley of course, i find her sisters a little too "i don't care what i wear, hey look i look drugged 24/7" at least lately she's looking a bit more put together but i honestly don't have time to be searching for a decent outfit out of her candid shots. so here's a bit of ashley o.
i

i would really love to get my hands on a pair charcoal acid wash cigarette jeans. i just have to find the right fit- i'm so finicky about my jeans, unlike most girls i gotta make sure it looks like a have a but- it's a latin thing (and that is a huge run on sentance i need to go back to school). and i can not wait to where shorts and sandals all the time. COSTA RICA I COME! i also need to purchase a pair of good shades and contacts, cause i really don't feel like wearing my super thick rimmed spectacles in central america. why? 1.) the dirt and dust all over my lenses, that for sure won't help me see at all 2.) no protection from the sun = more damage to my eyes.

as for the bottom two photos, well they just depict her clean & simple effortless put together style. and if my mom could have it her way she'd have me dressing like this forever. not that i won't want to, i like it, but i wear what i feel. and i suppose a part of me prefers to dress indie boho oversized shirts in sort of rebellion to my mom's preference of style. i don't want to be a mini clone of her, i'd rather me my own person thank you.

ohh and i have made a couple golden purchases lately. such as the black strapless jumper i found and a designer consignment boutique downtown. oh that store was wonderful. the shoe selection was amazing. except it was difficult to find my size amongst all the size 8's and 9's. but i did manage to find a pair of vintage versace black leather boots. they were gorgeous. i just wasn't able to purchase them due to having to pay for my passport and the rent coming up soon. it was sad leaving them there, but i guess it wasn't meant to be.

it's a whole new year.

i know it's a tad late but i'll say it anyways
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
so my greatest friend ever, nicole, and i  planned to have this amazing black & white party this year only to have it be an utter flop. well not completely, but it was a bit pathetic at the begging. so we decided to ditch our party and head to someone elses's to go 'dancing' only to arrive and see three people sitting on the couch watching the tv as one guy continuously flipped channels cause he was mesmerized by all the different shows ( he doesn't have cable). my thought immediately was "oh man, what do we do now. this is sad." but suprisingly we stayed till midnight. spent the hours playing catch-phrase, and a game ment for children called 'animal game' which was actually a little hard and extremely hilariously with the people i ended up playing it with. after the ball dropped and everyone shouted happy new years to one another, and friends/family over the phone. we exchanged our favourite part about the year 2009, said our fairwells and head back to our party. where we actually danced for a wee bit, played some good old beatles rockband and watched zoolander (was my first time experiencing that movie, and oh my it was greatness). no i am not gonna post a set list of new years resolutions cause i never seem to do them anyways so i set myself to failure. i shall make a list later and call it something lame, maybe then i'll do it. how was your new years? hope it was well spent
